About

Hello! I’m Michelle, I am excited to meet you! Fit Philosophi is where I share inspiration, information, and ideas on living your best life. Stick around and join me in the pursuit of health and living a whole hearted life with a little fun on the side!

I have over 11 years of experience in the health and wellness industry. My passion for what I do, comes from a desire to help each person that I meet be their best self.

I am a Nationally Accredited Certified Personal Trainer and Certified Wellness Coach. After training for several years and trying the methods taught by most physical training programs I became frustrated. I met too many people with pain and limitations that held them back from really reaching their wellness goals. I knew there had to be a better way.

I began learning more about how the human body works and began to pursue my education as a Neural Based Movement Specialist through Z Health. Today, I work with individuals who are looking for alternative ways of getting rid of pain, mobility issues, and limitations. I often work with people who have past injuries that never healed, those coming out of rehab for joint replacements or surgeries, or anyone looking to feel better and move better!

I believe that everyone is capable of achieving change. I am an experienced coach that will ensure that your workouts are safe and effective. If you are looking for ways to eat better or achieve other healthy related goals, we have you covered.

I have a background in Social Work and 11 years of experience in personal and group training. I also have specialty certifications in joint mobility and mechanics, vision and vestibular training, breathing mechanics, introception training,  wellness coaching, boxing, and running injury prevention.  I use my background and experience to meet each client right where you are at today. My desire at Fit Philosophi is to help you achieve a lifestyle upgrade and make it as painless as possible.

I created this blog as a way to help anyone interested learn more about health and movement, but I also will be sharing insights into matters of the heart. Who we think we are if often what we share with the world, for better or worse. If we can all be a little bit kinder to ourselves, we can share that kindness with others around us.

Stick around and share your thoughts as we grow and learn together. Don’t forget to subscribe (in the footer below) to the blog and my Youtube channel if you prefer video form 🙂
